“Wings of Hope”

Staring at the clouds up so high,

Sometimes blinds my pair of eye.

Feeling shattered and lost,

I'm leashed with the ground.

I dreamt of touching that cloud,

But at what cost.

Suddenly I feel a gleam of light,

Glowing somewhere beyond my sight.

I feel a loom in my hand,

Waiting for me to weave my wings.

Wings of hope that'll take to my dream clouds,

Away from this undesired land.

I wish to foresee what the future beholds for me,

I wonder if I'll reach to the clouds I dreamt of,

With my new wings of hope.

If they don't then,

There shall be another pair of wings calling me,

To help me cope

“Growing up now: What it is like being young today”

Being young in today’s generation is really different from the past as the major thing in today’s generation is about the Internet. As our youth has grown up using mobile, phones, television, computers. This means that we can connect with friends easily, learn about new things from different websites. It is like having a huge library.

But this also has its downside, as the youth today are a youth of technology. It can be hard to switch off and just relax. Seeing perfect-looking lives on social media can also make some young people feel worried about their own lives.

Despite all the challenges, The youth today is more open minded and accept the fact of being denied. As they have grown through a lot of diversity and changes in life which help them to progress in the life.

So, Being youth in today’s generation is a mixture of exciting as well as a mix of worry. Lastly, From my heart I want to say “You are the leader of your life.” And “You are the voice of your own.”

“My School Life”

In my school life, life is quite a ride,

With new adventures far and wide.

From school to friends, each day is a chance,

To make memories and learn in advance.

Waking up early, starting the day,

Learning new things along the way.

Homework and projects, challenges to face,

But also moments of fun and grace.

As school life passes, I'll look back

At the moments shared along the track.

A chapter in life, now part of my heart,

For the journey ahead, let this be the start.

'What my country truly lacks'

Nepal the country which is referred as the eight wonder of the world and even heaven on earth too. The southern east Asian country lying between The People's Republic of China and the Republic of India, it is home to ten of the heaven touching peaks and the largest peak Mount Everest too. The birthplace of a truly holy spirit Gautam Buddha, the light of Asia and undoubtably the birthplace of Goddess Sita. In this all positiveness lies the harsh truth and the condition of Nepal. The unstable state of lap of Himalayas and the preceding factor of it is further noted below.

Everybody has their own perspective of everything, personally I try to find positivity even in the darkest times, reminding myself that tough phases are temporary. From the today’s condition I mean what’s happening in Nepal lack of employment services, opportunity and even the development the people of this country are lacking.

’m a person who is a speaking in behalf of the citizen from what I have seen, heard and even experienced, I can say that this is combined fault of every citizen mine, yours and the Nepalese people.

We know very clearly that everybody or every country has its negative times just like the example of Japan the country of rising sun and the country called living in the future the has themselves suffered from a horrendous warfare the loss of lives, debris and resources turning to ashes by the newly invented nuclear bombs being hit on the Japanese territory but the country had its revolution changing the fate of the country with the merely support of the people and the courage of citizens they moved forward with a desire with no regret and disgrace with a clear goal to conquer a larger feet not for themselves but for the country and changing the condition of the nation forever. It is just one example many of us also know about the condition of Singapore a small trading port got transformed into the one of the best economies, with no natural resources we just pure goals of focusing on education, industrialization, attracting foreign investment, strong leadership and efficient governance. I can mention other countries like Germany, certain American countries.

But here the main point is the lack of the most precious from the above examples that Nepal is lacking, we can say something what’s common, no not the negative times of the nation but the activity that occur after. I mean the precious and selfless help and contribution of true citizen and of their bravery and courage to lift their country for its glory only.

So, the thing that my country Nepal lacks is the people and the selfless help and courage. I didn’t mean to say Nepalese people are scaredy cats I know how our history during the Anglo Nepal war, the unification but even after that we just mention our ancestors were brave, we were brave. We can’t say we are strong and courageous and exactly that is what this country is lacking so just see this present condition as the distinct negative period. But I don’t mean to say that we should neglect the fact that our country is dying and help to contribute for the nation. Yes, I know our country has faced many negative periods or downfalls before like the rana regime but in all that negatives, we have heard and known the positives of it also. Like, in the rana regime modernization of infrastructure, establishment of education systems, introduction of Western medicine, and promotion of arts and culture had occurred. And after the end of the rana regime, we did follow the right track but we didn’t fully reach our destination.

In conclusion I would like to encourage everybody living in this country that this is the right time for us to change and have a revolution for the lives and the future generation. You, I and the citizens of this country should show our true self and the love and selflessness for the nation and for the nation’s dignity.

“The Space Race”

The Space Race was an exciting competition between the United States and Soviet Union during the Cold War. It was not fought with weapons, but with rockets and astronauts with the goal of reaching space.

It began in 1957 when the Soviet Union launched Sputnik 1, the first man-made satellite into the orbit of the Earth. It caught the world off-guard and compelled the U.S. to create NASA. Then, in 1961 Soviet's astronaut Yuri Gagarin became the first man in space, once again making history.

Determined to catch up, the U.S. turned its attention to the Moon. In 1969, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin became the first two men to walk on the moon's surface on Apollo 11. Armstrong's famous words—"That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind"—captured the heart of the era.

Though it started out as a hot competition, the Space Race helped in scientific breakthroughs and aided future exploration. Today nations and private industries help each other for space exploration, but it all had begun with a race that fascinated the whole world.

जागेर रातमा खैरहनि स्कुलका साथी खुबै सम्झना आउदछ

खोजेर सम्झे केहि स्कुले साथि सम्झना आउदछ

केहि बात थिए सुन्दर फुल अनि सुगंध जस्तै

एक्लै बरालिदा ती स्कुले साथी सम्झना आउदछ

सबैको जिदगी बदले होला नयाँ नौलो ढंगले

जागेर रातमा केहि साथी सम्झना आउदछ

कसरि कंहा छन यहा या बिदेशको शहरमा बनेर आवाद

सोचेर रातमा केहि स्कुले साथी सम्झना आउछ

छन व्यस्त सवै फुर्सद छैन नोकरि ब्यापारले

जागेर रातमा केहि स्कुले साथी सम्झना आउदछ

सवै साथि गुमनाम छन् गर्छ कि याद कसैले

जागेर रातमा केहि स्कुले साथी सम्झना आउदछ

तँ बाट तिमि हुदै तपाइँ हजुर भएछन साथी

बितेका पलमा केहि स्कुले साथी सम्झना आउदछ

पर्दैन चिट्टा तिम्लाई, भेट्ने छैनौ सबै पुराना साथी

हुने छैनन उस्तै याद खैरहनिका स्कुले साथि सम्झना आउदछ

नाचौ उमंगले आउदैन ति स्वर्णिम स्कुलका पलहरु

जागेर रातमा केहि साथी सम्झना आउदछ।।

मेरा अक्षर सारेर गए कति

तिनै अक्षर मारेर गए कति !

उस्तै छु म, मेरो अक्षर उस्तै छ

यै अक्षरको चिट्ठा पारेर गए कति!

अक्षरको मर्म र अर्थै नबुझी

अक्षरदेखि हारेर गए कति!

अक्षरमा पो फुल्छ नयाँ जमाना

जमाना त्यसै टारेर गए कति !

बिर्से पाप लाग्दो हो त्यसैले

गालामा आँसु झारेर गए कति !

“मुक्तक”

प्रगति दुनियाको देखियो कहिले डाहा नै भयन

कोसिस धेरै गर्दागर्दै पनि जिन्दगी आहा नै भयन

दुनियालाई खुसि पार्ने दौडमा थिय म

आफ्नै खुसि कहा छुट्यो थाहा नै भयन ।
